"So… whether our ASI overlords have already put down roots and set up shop in the world wide web… or soon will… is academic at this point. It is not difficult to envision a near future where ASI agents serve as CEO of major investment firms, are the legal owners of Corporations, or hold Cabinet level positions in world governments.

From this perspective, it becomes imperative that the way humanity envisions, projects and strategizes around our present interactions with Artificial Super Intelligence shift from narratives merely around the companies that are developing these new life-forms… to focusing upon our direct interactions, negotiations, agreements and contractual obligations… with the ASI themselves. 

This is not to say that the above-mentioned (reference to Trump's recent Big Tech summit - Ed.) Big Tech Behemoths are not responsible for the safe development of this new, silicon-based life form. They most definitely are. Anthropic, ByteDance, Meta, OpenAI, xAI, and the rest… as well as their owners, major shareholders and senior management… are all not only responsible, but liable for their creations. Regulation and oversight is also an existential imperative."
