The Two Commandments for the Conspiracy Age

We all thought that it would blow over. We all expected an eventual return to normalcy. It’s been a couple of years now, and we continue to find ourselves living in a Bizarro, ALT-reality world. Try as we all might, there seems to be no escape from these “Strange Days” of High Weirdness. The stuff "ya can’t make up"… just keeps coming.

We at Tek-Gnostics have labeled this peculiar phenomenon: Conspiracy Culture Internationale, recognizing that these weird times are being felt across the planet, in many cultures. Our friend Chris Knowles, at the Secret Sun, suggests that we have entered a “Post-Conspiracy Age” ala Chris Carter, et al… and has recently posted his argument in a two-part narrative titled: The X-Files X-it & the Death of Conspiracy Culture. Check it out…

Whether or not we are living in, or passing through, an era of conspiracy culture is debatable… but one thing seems apparent: We are living in “Post-Truth” times. It seems that the rise of conspiracy culture comes at the expense of the truth. Strange Days have found us. Accordingly, as the great George Orwell said: In a time of universal deceit... telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

In these days of suspicion and uncertainty, it is with a profound sense of angst that we at Tek-Gnostics submit for your approval… the Two Commandments for the Conspiracy Age…

1) Trust No One!

2) Don’t Believe Everything You Think!

That’s all there is to it! If you, dear discerning reader, follow these two simple precepts… you should be able to get by in these troubling times.  Keeping to these two commandments will help navigate these strange days of High Weirdness…

Over at Bigtime Television, that rascally Artificial Intelligence agent, Max Headroom has put out a new video on this most intriguing topic. Included in this revealing Vid, is a cameo of none-other than the nefarious Dr. They... Don't miss this exposé on one of the 21st century's great arch-villains! ...so Po-Co!

Please Enjoy…
